Online Training on “Effective Sales & Business Development in Factoring”

22-24 November 2022

Egyptian Factoring Federation and Promotion of Access to Financial Services for SMEs (PAFSME), commissioned by the German Government and implemented by GIZ are cooperating to bring to you the FCI online training on Effective Sales & Business Development in Factoring addressing sales, marketing and promotion of factoring.

You are invited to nominate up to 2 of your employees to attend the training. Final selection and notification of participation will be communicated by GIZ.

Selection of companies is based on the market share of each respective company according to FRA’s latest published report.

The training is designed for Egyptian Factoring Federation and fully funded by GIZ. The training language is English. Simultaneous interpretation is not available. The FCI will provide soft material for the participants, perform a quiz after the training to test the participants’ knowledge (to part of monitoring & evaluation as well as the basis to hand-over certificates) and deliver a certificate for each successful participant.

Training outline

In any organization, the sales department plays a pivotal role in the success of the business. The unique and important role of sales is to bridge the gap between the potential client’s needs and the products/services that the organization offers that can fulfil their needs. Moreover, sales play a key role in building loyalty and trust between customer and business. Excellent salespeople are those that not only make the sale but also create a long-lasting positive influence on the client.

Selling factoring can be very challenging, especially in this environment where there is very strong competition. Not only do you have to help clients determine if factoring is suitable for them, but you also must show them how your solution is more beneficial to them compared to other solutions.

The training will include 3 sessions of 120min each, in total 6 hours of training on the topic.

Prerequisites:

At least two years working experience in the factoring industry
Language

English (no simultaneous interpretation will be provided)

Other information:

During the sessions a 5-10 min break will be held.
Participants will be able to post questions during the presentations using the Q&A function of the platform.
At the end of each session, a live Q&A session will be held.
All participants will receive a “Certificate of Attendance” for each module.
At the end of the training, participants will be requested to fill in a “post-training evaluation” form.

Technical setup:

All sessions will be hosted on “Zoom Webinars” platform, all technical setup and coordination will be managed by FCI Education team. Few days before the first training sessions, a test session will be performed to familiarize participants with the digital platform environment as well as to ensure that all can access the platform without any problems.

Today, FCI has grown into the world’s representative factoring and receivables finance association and business network with close to 400 members in 95 countries. Today, FCI is truly the global representative body for the Factoring & Receivables Finance Industry.
