He holds a bachelor's Degree in Law in 1991, followed by Postgraduate Diploma in Economics and
Political Science from Cairo University in 2004, then a Master of Laws (LLM) from the Faculty of Law,
Cairo University in 2009. In addition to a Ph.D. in Commercial Law, the research topic -Legal aspects
of factoring.
He was appointed as a General Director of Supervision and Control of NBFIs (Financial Leasing,
Mortgage Finance, Factoring) from February 2010 until March 2020. Afterward, he joined the private
sector in April 2020 as the Executive Director of Factoring at Tamweel Finance Company (TFC).
Moreover, he was selected as a lecturer at the Financial Services Institute of the Financial Regulatory
Authority (FRA), the Egyptian Banking Institute, the Egyptian Factoring Association, and the Egyptian
Financial Leasing Association. Furthermore, he has taught various training programs and workshops
in the fields of non-banking finance services (NBFIs).
He took part in the preparation of legislature and regulations for Non-Banking Financial Institutions
(NBFIs) in Egypt. Most importantly, the financial Leasing and factoring law, the mortgage finance law,
and its executive regulations, the microfinance law, and the consumer finance law.
