Mr. Shaheen is Chief Executive Officer of The Egyptian Company for Factoring (Egypt Factors); the first factoring company in Egypt (a subsidiary the European based and internationally active FIMBank Group)

Shaheen has worked for Egypt Factors since 2007 and before that he worked at The Commercial International Bank of Egypt (CIB) as a Corporate Credit Director and member of the Credit Committee. He has 30 years of combined banking, factoring, corporate credit, and structured commercial finance experience.

Shaheen is also a current board member and the former chairman of the Egyptian Credit & Risk Association (ECRA), a well-known and pioneer association in Egypt for credit and risk professionals from banks and financial institutions.

He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst and member of the CFA Institute of the United States. The CFA charter is the premier professional designation in the field of investment, portfolio management and corporate finance worldwide.
